Attending the premiere of Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos’ movie "Kinds of Kindness" on May 17 as a guest, the beauty queen showcased her shoulders and waist in a blue silk taffeta gown with a strapless top adorned with high-quality stones. Part of Cong Tri’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection, which was presented in the U.S., the gown was couriered to Vietnam earlier this month for Nhi.

Nhi’s ensemble was complemented by stone-encrusted jewelry, along with a shimmering blue eye and pink lip makeup look. She also brought three other outfits by Cong Tri with her to Cannes.

The beauty queen shared that she was excited about her first attendance at one of the world’s most famous film festivals.

Nhi, 30, is currently focusing on her fashion business and modeling career. She is notable for being the only Vietnamese beauty to be featured three times consecutively on TC Candler’s "World’s Most Beautiful Women" list.

Cong Tri, 46, hails from the coastal city of Da Nang. He established his own brand in 2009 and has since become a favored designer among various A-list celebrities, including Adele, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron, Katy Perry, and Rihanna.

The world premiere of "Kinds of Kindness" at this year's Cannes Film Festival featured a star-studded lineup including American actresses Emma Stone, Margaret Qualley, Hunter Schafer, and Vietnamese-American actress Hong Chau.
