Jessica Biel bathed in 9 kg of Epsom salt to prepare for 2024 Met Gala

Jessica Biel graced the red carpet at this year's Met Gala, marking her much-anticipated return after over a decade. Radiating elegance, the 42-year-old actress stunned in a vibrant pink gown adorned with thousands of delicate petals, perfectly capturing the essence of the Gala's theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," and its accompanying dress code, "The Garden of Time."

Prior to the star-studded event, Biel shared a glimpse of her pre-gala ritual with fans through a social media video. Clad in a bathrobe, she disclosed her unique approach to preparation for the Met Ball.

"While some may choose to revel in pre-gala festivities all weekend long, I have a different approach," Biel expressed in the video. She then showcased five bags of Epsom salt, totalling 9 kg, which she poured into her bathtub.

"Immerse yourself in a 30-minute soak with water as hot as you can bear the night before," she advised. "Then hydrate abundantly and retire early for the night."

Attending the Met Gala unaccompanied sparked curiosity among onlookers, with many wondering about the absence of her husband, Justin Timberlake. However, Timberlake's commitments on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour placed him 3,000 miles away in San Jose, California, performing to a packed audience at the SAP Center.
